Audience Feedback

From all of these audience feedbacks we were told that they were unable to see the ghost character clearly in our opening sequence and so we have made changes to our opening sequence to change this problem. This feedback has really helped us as now we can make sure everyone can understand our opening sequence and so it will appeal to our target audience.

Dilema

When we presented our opening sequence so far to sir, he explained that he taught our pictures were very similar. This was because during all the pictures, we zoom into the image. Sir told us to change it around a bit so it doesn't make the imagess boring. We will have to change them slightly and show sir again later.

Beginning Evaluation

Today in class, our teacher introduced us to evaluating our opening sequences. We are in a bit of a rush now to finish our filming and sound for our opening sequence but hopefully it can all be done in time.

Music

We must compose our music for our opening sequence, the problem is, we can't find a very sinister piece of music to base our music on. This has created a problem and so we may have to ask people who do know how sinister music should sound. Hopefully this will be done by the end of the week as we are pushing for time. Our teacher told us our music should sound like 'Winkies Dream' from Mulholland Drive (David Lynch, 2001) which had a sinister tone to the music.

This Means War 2012

Today filming got cancelled and so I went to go watch the movie, This Means War. The film starts out to be another action thriller where two under-cover spies attack some bad guys. This gave me the impression that it was going to be an action movie. However it turned around to be about the two spies liking the same girl and battling to see who gets the girl. The film was funny and had an alright story line.

Editing

We have almost finished editing. We now only need to finish a bit of filming and add that in and then we need to add the music and we would have finished our opening sequence. We are hoping to finish filming on Sunday.

Filming

We as a group have decided not to include the final scene of our opening sequence. This is because we want Tyler to remain mysterious and we think when Dylan sees Tyler, it will be a climatical aspect to the remainder of the film and so we think it should come later in the film.

Real Steal 2011 (Directed by Shawn Levy)

This opening sequence was not what I expected at all. In the opening scene, Hugh Jackmans character Charlie, is driving down the country side, passing amazing sights like a circus and the green meadows off the country side. This showed he was isolated from others, but yet he was a peaceful person.
However, this is contrast to how he is actually, he is a man who wants money and even trades his only son for it. the film is mainly about his journey with his son as they train a robot to be a fighter. The film is quite good and the opening was very well done and surprising as the trailers never showed any sort of peaceful aspect.

Here is the trailer and you will see that the peacefull opening is not in the trailer.

Filming

Today we went to film all of our footage again due to technical difficulty due to our camera setting. However, due to the heavy rain and other factors, we only completed half our filming and still have another half to do. We are hoping to do this filming on Thursday.
